Wow, that's a looong time! Dude that's impressive. Did you ramp up your coding skills?
jacksalt:
Damn! Awesome!

And of course now this is in my head (to the tune of Sgt. Pepper's):

"It was twelve years ago today
Ensign Crusher taught the web to play
he's been going in and out of style
but he's guaranteed to raise a smile
so let me introduce to you
the act you've know for all these years
(or the one and only Wil Wheaton, depending on which side of the album is your fav)
Wil Wheaton's "Wil Wheaton dot net"!

"Don't let yourself get caught up in popularity contests. When you care about winning a popularity contest, or maintaining some kind of popular status, you make pleasing other people more important than being true to yourself.

One of the keys to happiness is not having a fuck to give about popularity contests or worry about what THEY will think. THEY don't know a goddamn thing,...

I can totally relate. In my thirties and sometimes I still have to remind myself of this.

Hey Will- I can relate as well. I think our generation(X) was the first to say fuck u to the status quo popularity thing. It has now gotten worse because of things like being connected to everybody  all at once. Take this site for instance, it is essentially a huge popularity contest where u are able to vote yah or nah for the girls that want to reach the SG status. It is my opinion(everybody has one) that popularity among earthlings is a human condition that we cannot escape without way too much meditation and introspection on the subject.

Jockin' the table top! I love it. Wil Wheaton keep on being Wil Wheaton because you're good at being Wil Wheaton. Also, I can't believe your SG blog isn't filled with a billion comments like on G+ to name one example.

BTW, are you ever going to invite any SG's to participate in an episode of Table Top? Just sayin'.

Can't wait for Season 3 Wil!

In 2008, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell declared that his top priority was to ensure that Barack Obama was a one-term president. In his failed pursuit of that goal, he has lead his party to unprecedented obstructionism, abusing the filibuster to bring all Senate business to a halt.

In the 2012 election, Americans overwhelmingly re-elected President Obama, cast more votes for Democrats than Republicans, and...

On it.

As a lifelong resident of Kentucky, I want to deeply and sincerely apologize for the incarnation of evil known as Mitch McConnell. If it's any consolation, we don't like him either.

So this is a thing that is happening:

Drew Curtis (my friend and founder of Fark.com), Greg Koch (my friend and co-founder of Stone Brewing Company) and I are collaborating on a limited-release beer that will come out just around Comicon in July.

It's an Imperial Stout, made with pecans, some wheat malt, a ton of rye, and aged in bourbon barrels. It's going to...

Appearing as a guest at a big convention like MegaCon is a lot of fun, but its also exhausting. People always ask me if my arm or hand or wrist is tired near the end of a long day of signing, and I always tell them the truth: my body never gets tired; its my brain that is exhausted. Signing is so much more than,...
