For me, the worst possible episodes would be the entire "Buffy loves Angel/Buffy vs. Angel" arc from season 2. Specifically anything after he kills Jenny Calendar up to the finale. Seriously, if I'm in a sad enough mood the THEME MUSIC from those episodes alone can make me cry.
