And then, a car accident. Woo.

I'm fine. We'll see what happens with the car.

Gotta love how quickly good days are followed by bad. I'm glad you are okay though. How's the vegetarian thing going?
infinity:
Good to hear that you're OK...

Well, i've been a vegetarian for five days now. It's not a permanent thing (25 days left), but i just wanted to give my body a little cleanup. I originally was going to do one of those cleanses with the pills, but i feel like those would be a little harsh for a n00b like myself. I figure just going veggie for a month would...

Well, Christmas has come and gone. It was a nice relaxing day, with lots of fun and screeching laughter from Cairo's mom (especially while we played Cranium, which was a gift for Cairo).

She got a new 24" road unicycle, which she can't wait to play with.

I got a new Nikon D40 digital SLR camera, which i can't wait to play with (all models...

Ok, i thought this was worth posting...

Just the fact that Brett Ratner's not directing it, and it seems to be based on the graphic novel of the same name already makes this better than X-3 (of course, shit in a cup is better than that).

Could this redeem the franchise in some people's eyes?
bigpoppa99:
if its at least a pg-13 I would say yes.

it needs the violence and his uncontrollabe berserker rage
pip:
My buddy Rich was all excited about this as well. I think this is the right way to keep the x-men franchise alive. Split it up a bit and then do another x-men movie about 5 years down the road.

I may like the movie but they are going to RUIN Deadpool.

I hate turkey. Well, not hate, per se, I just don't like it very much. It's like chicken: I can totally live without it.

So, i'm at work yesterday, and one of my regular customers comes in and we're talking about my frustrations with art and school and whatnot. She asks me what i want to go back to school (again) for, and i tell her "animation." I think i mentioned something about not having the time to really concentrate on it at this point because i don't have...

Wow. Bummer. Have you considered looking for non-profits? At the very least, you could always live off of student loans (I know, shitty, but if that's what it takes to improve your life in the long-run, why not consider it?)...
otoki:
I know one of my friends used her student loans for both tuition and rent, so I think if you get a large enough student loan it could take care of enough of your living expenses that you'd only need to work twice a week.

I don't know much about student loans, though. I'm lucky enough to go to a cheap school (10000/yr) and have a lucrative and flexible job.

What kind of work do you do right now?

Ok, so this annoyed me.

So i was at work today (that part annoyed me already) and i, along with just about everyone else in the store, noticed a very fit, pretty young woman wearing a green sundress-type thing, and cowboy boots. No makeup, hair in a ponytail. Only thing that stood out was that massive amount of cleavage she was sporting, and the fact...

I really understand a lot of what you're saying here. I'm in the same position of trying to improve my place in life, but when everything feels like it's such a struggle, it makes it hard to stay motivated.

I hope things turn around for you a little bit and motivation peeks its head into your life. smile kiss
