well it's something you haveta do sometimes - the first night my son spent at my house HE slept on the couch - but then he wanted to cuz he was hoping the cats would be reassured by his presence there.
I have no idea if it helped the cats or not but it seemed to make him happier so I went with it..
Of course, now he's got his own bed at my place (with better sheets than I've got to boot!) but we still leave the door open so the cats can come in and sleep with him if they want.

I just quit my job -- well sort of I had to leave a message with my boss because know one answered his line-- Pussy ? Yes, very.. so I am still waiting for a call back.
I feel aweful, cuz who likes to quit a job? And right before x-mas no less. I feel like a loser because I should have known from the start that physically this job would be to much, and the hours were aweful. I feel like I let myself down, because i wanted this job to work so much,
And there are a million reason's why I hate it and 2 why it is good. I was having nightmares about all the bad things that have been told to me by the guys I work with. ( trains derailing and deaths and near misses, crossing accidents --- very aweful deaths from people hit by trains and other trains craching, deaths and limbs being cut off from the wheels of the trains.)
last night I dreamt the train tipped over and crushed my lower body.. I was alive still but trapped. -- That was the final for me that seemed to sum up how i felt trapped. So I quit...
Why work over x-mas and for a few more weeks hoping to find another job? So I quit b4 the holiday and then will go find a new job and go back to school in the fall.
Tell me this why do I feel so shitty? Why do I have to plan every detail? tell me I did the right thing!!

I'm not very good at taking compliments, but thank you for appreciating what I wrote. As for the meaning... I'm still working on it! Poetry is shorthand for my psyche. I enjoy comments quite a bit because so often the things that others see in my words help me to understand them for myself - or at least for them.
