After a long absence I have returned.
I hate moving, it's been a rather grueling task, but I now am in my new home in Tampa, Florida. I must say it's quite a change from Germany, but the weather is fantastic right now.

I hate moving too! Moved down here in a little hatchback car little bit more than a year ago. Loving the weather though. Welcome to the area and the land of no-snow (my favorite part!). Never been to Germany myself but I'm trying to go this summer for world cup, guess we'll see if that trip pans out. tim12crl used to live there... I can't remember which base now. Anyhow, liked reading your journal (and apparently writing one myself.. good lord I'm going to shut up now...)

I hurt in my everywhere. I went to an army obstical course yesterday and my skin is colored in all of the wonderful bruises earned there. On top of that I'm having to put up with a normal day and all of the stupid people that go with that. Idiots, every single damed one of them.

I hurt right now and it's all the US Army's fault. Well that sounds a bit dramatic. I just took the bi-anual mandatory physical fitness test, so I'm a bit worn out. I'm actually going for a convention, so everything is pretty much paid while I'm there. Unless I go crazy with lapdances or room service, I will end up making money. wink Where did you stay? I'm at Mandalay Bay, I was there in January and stayed there, the Venetian and Hard Rock. I did a mental Vegas tour in January and worked 2 conventions. I frikin LOVE Vegas, I can't wait to chill out at the pool. smile

Well right now I really feel sorry for all of those people in the path of Katrina's destruction. And just think; I'll be moving to Florida in a few months. The state that has experienced 6 hurricanes in about the last year. Living near the beach definitely has it's downsides.

Ahhhhhhh, back from vacation, and there is nothing like lounging on the beach for a few days to take the edge off. Well having an alcoholic beverage in your hand could help, but you get my drift.
