small club shows are the BEST. I loved it when I went to see Fear Factory in like, 1999, at Nations, my first club show (before that was just big concerts and shit where I was in the nosebleeds), and they played the same night as Slayer in the same area... Slayer got most of the metalheads at their show, so to me it was awesome because I got to be so close to the stage (without being squished and mosh-pitted to death) that the bassist was sweating on me, lol... and I even caught his pick! It was a shit show for the BANDS (maybe 250 people tops) but perfect for me! have fun.
