I went to the interview on Wednesday for the administrator/cashier job at 3663 in Harlow, and it went well. The woman who interviewed me was really friendly, it was a pretty relaxed informal interview. She showed me around the place and where I would be working, explained some more about the job, asked me about my current job, etc. It looked like a great place...

Some guy just knocked at the door selling fascias, he had stretched ears at 8mm and asked what size mine were, ended up being a cool discussion about body mods in the workplace biggrin
Awesome. I don't meet many cool people like that on a day-to-day basis.

Question: Should I consider modeling for SG?

Simple "yes" or "no" would be greatly appreciated kiss

YES. Absolutely.

Having just posed for my own first set of nudes, I would highly recommend it. Very liberating. surreal

Staff once said that if you have to ask, the answer is NO. However, if you ever do consider it, I believe you would be perfect with the hard work and determination it takes these days. smile

I'm gonna learn how to play guitar. Not doing so years ago has been a regret of mine. So, what the hell, in 2009 I shall make some noise!
Can anyone give me pointers?

In other news, I gave one of my Blythe dolls dreads today. I have way too much time on my hands. I hate Sundays.

good for you with the guitar,
I tried and gave up on it last winter.
people kept telling me about 'bar chords'
like its faster if you can pick them up but....?
whatever miao!! whatever
lego_:
My tip is to find something you'd love to be able to play and then find either the sheet music (if you can read it) or someone who can show you how to play it. Pick something that will be rewarding when you're done learning it-- Smoke on the Water is nice and easy, but who still listens to Deep Purple, really? smile

Haha you're sucked in. The evil world of SG will drain your funds smile
Thanks! It hurts like a bitch at the moment and i've not got a foot, i've got a total trotter. I'm getting shading on it in the summer when it's warm enough to wear flip flops. Either that or i'll just go hippy for a few weeks and go bare foot if it's really warm! smile

How've you been? x

Re: Eurovision...
That has to be some of the most awful political voting I've seen!

I was expecting it, but we actually had a good song this year, even if the genre is not to your taste.

Wogan said he wasn't sure if he'd continue commentating for the event, and also said that Western Europe might as well pull out altogether because we don't stand...

I watched it to have a giggle bc I love Terry Wogan's commentary, but got fucking bored. Even Terry couldn't save it.

Just saw your avatar when I was reading through the GO group...you're so purdy! blush

Missed Bosnia, but it looked like a hoot. Spain had me almost falling off the couch laughing.

And thankoo! biggrin

So, Boris has done it!

I must admit I'm not suprised. This is pretty forboding for slimey Brown, isn't it? It seems that the majority of Londoners want to give Labour the kicking it deserves. A nice wake-up call for the useless PM, I think!

I never, ever, EVER thought that I would say it, but... I think the Tories will get the next general...

it's a cyclical thing. Labour have been in power for to long and are making all the same arrogant mistakes the Tories made of not listening and steamrollering through badly thought out unpopular policies. Understandably the public are fed up with them and want to give them a kick in the arse and the ultimate kick in the arse will be to get them out of power when they'll probably tear themselves apart for a few years with infighting.
devilsreject:

Ah yes, of course! Who are you voting for? Not knowing a great deal about American politics, I think I could live with you just fine! I'd have to bring my Arbian servants, though.

i don't know how i would deal with servants. I'd probably wig out and scream "QUIT TOUCHIN' MY STUFF!"

Voting for Obama. Voted for him in the primaries, looks like i am going to get to vote for him in the general election to. Sad and tired of the Republicans.

Why, oh why, did I buy a new bed?
A nice new bed from Ikea.
Why?

I've had to clean my bedroom out to get rid of old stuff to make room for new, and ohhh fuck I wish I hadn't started!

I started on the wardrobe and the massive hoard of clothes I no longer wear. It all smells so musty! Lots of...
