The party of tolerence extends its tolerence only to those who toe the party line. That particular hypocrisy towards the "vote for the inclusive kind party that respects allfreedoms of choice" has always amazed me. I love that you all make the blanket statement that anyone who disagrees with you is essentially misinformed or evil.

Well, alcohol has lots of calories in it. So I guess in that regard it screws with your metabolism. Cannabinoids are a little more subtle - but may actually effect it more profoundly. Suffice to say there are cannabinoid receptors all over the paraventricular and lateral hypothalamic nuclei, you know, the regions that, among other things, sense hunger and satiety and control your appetite? Hence "The Munchies." I don't think either one in small doses is bad for you though (never stops me from indulging, that's for sure.)

Oh, and re: your last comment - I got 5 pages on comments on the picture of some food, and 2 pages on my longass entry about electoral politics. Go figure!

My folks are from Ireland....so I loved it right off the bat. After seeing it, I was watching the credits to see EXACTLY where it was filmed...and that song that plays right at the ending and beggining is great.
