Yes! exactly! I love that feeling when you're so close to someone that you can sit there and be silent knowing the other person would have it no other way at that moment, but you're both perfectly happy. It drives people crazy though, like there's something wrong. Silence equals aggression, or failure to communicate. I wish they could just be comfortable with it instead of saying something for the sake of feeling like they're getting along, or feeling accepted. I've been trained to be a loner though, so I'm pretty comfortable with silence.

I've done it before. It's very painful to come back from.
I adore dancing. It's the thing that makes me happiest. I'm not a dancer though. I'd love to live next to a dancer who danced around spontaneously. It would make me feel more alive.

HI Sisu! here I am, long time gone.. well, I agree that been nice it's an attitude which always brings positive, but most people take advantage from that! So, especially in business and work relationships, using some protection is a good idea. Then, you can always see how to play the "harder" role.. I have the same problem, and mostly I get good things from being nice and open: I can't be different! I have had bad experiences from it though, and that helps in understanding people and life..
I'm in Bali now, I'm going to post u some nice pics from our house: it's fantastic! we r working hard, but we have our pleasures to counterbalance.. and soon i'll get some gigs at local best disco-bar!

i am not going to WEMF, i was going to the DEMF...in Detroit, i am actually supposed to be there right now...i signed a contract to be a stage manager and a dj tech, but i am not going to drive there myself after my ride scenario fell apart...they are not pleased with me. my jeep costs 40.00 a tank and i get 20 miles to the gallon on the freeway, flying could have been cheaper.
i would say you should probably bring a friend or two as there can be alot of people in alot of different conditions, and keeping an eye on your son will probably top priority. i am sure Winnipeg is a bit more relaxed than downtown Detroit, all the same...it is a Dionysian event.
there was a great variety of people in Detroit last year, families abounded...and i really could respect that, it made me feel good about the reach of electronic music...but up closer to the stage it felt alot like Altamont with little girls stage diving and having their clothing ripped off as they body surfed, and lots of trash being started on fire, it took on a very pagan tone.
i liked it.

ha! well today it got even worse. The German phone company turned off all of our (people in base housing) phones. Yep. Wanna know why? Because THEY forgot to send out phone bills last month. So instead of saying "oops we're sorry for this" they shut all of our phones off. EVEN IF YOU PAYED FOR YOUR BILL!!!!!! I'm really starting to dislike Germany a whole hell of a lot.

The image of your son mucking about in the mud is delightful. I imagine your mom will be very happy to get the pictures.
I feel a tinge of envy every time you mention dancing. I think I would have been a lot happier if I'd pursued dancing when I was a kid. Oh well. I still enjoy dancing period. I don't do raves anymore since I quit chemicals and everything died here in the city from all the coke floating around.
The pieces sound interesting. Will there be any pictures?
