One of my bridesmaids actually asked me "what are you going to do about all your piercings for the wedding?" (not like I have anything weird - just 11 in the ears).

My response: "Um, get them polished?"

Do what ever it is that would make you and your fiance happiest! It's your wedding. My mother-in-law had lots to say about our choices for the wedding and really in the end all that matters is that you are happy with your big day. Where are you guys getting married? Here in LA or elsewhere?

Went and looked at ceremony/reception sites.

Biltmore Hotel - right now this is at the top of the list. If you have never been, it is extravagent. My mom has held dozens of banquets there and never been disappointed. The rooms are gorgeous, and they are extremely accomadating. I think they are the top of my list. Of course, they are the most expensive.

I am a terrible housewife, though I reedemed myself for weeks of sub-average cleaning and pedestrian meals by cooking a tasty pasta primavera in a ricotta sauce with lemon bars for dessert.
