Same here, I remember sitting and listening to tapes of his standup with friends, and plotting to be able to catch his stuff on cable when cable was the new thing (kids in my neighborhood and I would study the schedules and plot whose parents were either not going to be home or would be lax enough to let us get away with it)...

I'm talking about the future. As far as the past is conscerned I have excepted responsibility for my actions (though not everyone else has) so don't tell me to own anything. I can't believe that either one of you would be so callous as to just take what you want or need from someone and if they start having feelings for you, you simply wave a disclaimor in their face and say, "see this, I told not to get all emotional, it's all your fault". What's so wrong with not wanting to be in a position to have to do something like that. Why is it such a bad thing to care enough about people to not want to hurt them? That was what my question was all about.
