Back pain sucks. First available specialist appointment was Oct 11th. You should see the xrays, my back does a little 'S' at the bottom of the spine. If it wasn't for my awesome wife I'd be saying something like: 'FML', but her awesome drowns out all the bad stuff. I luvz her.

I have the worst bad back I think I've ever had at the moment. Serious sciatic nerve problems, to the point where I feel physically sick. The last 2 night's sleep have been awful. I know a lot of it comes from my sedentary lifestyle due to work (constantly sitting at work for hours upon hours) and the fact I do virtually no exercise compounded...

Oh stop, Im a pure mess, Ive managed to get myself as fair as Melbourne and now I'm just waiting for the jetlag. Would you recommend anywhere in particular? I was thinking Wellington, I was going to go to Christchurch but the earthquake kinda put me off. Plus I think it might be easier to get a job in Welly or Auckland.

Last night I had to rescue my neighburs dog from the lustful gaze of a local deer hound (how would that even work?!) and I had to keep her on my knee from about 4 miles. I was certain she was going to vomit, if even just to spite me.
My lovely wife Sarraz just wrote an anti-blog.
You should go read it and encourage her to write more, coz she's awesome and would have more to say if she felt people might be listening.

Yes, being a vegetarian in the US is increasingly easy. When I first became in the early '90s, one had to go to specialty and health food stores to acquire TVP and so forth; now, of course, every supermarket in every small town has some sort of selection of Boca, Morningstar, Lightlife, Gardein, and other products.
That said, they can be expensive and occasionally not all that wonderful for you (as with all prepackaged, processed foods), so the basic staples often still work best.
