Ahaha I was just about to suggest Butt Trumpet!! I love them... especially "Kill yourself" and "You're Ugly" best songs ever... they always make me smile.
Onto the whole dealing with run-down apartments and landlords that do not comply with simple requests, I am the last tenant they would really want on their bad side. This is mainly because over the years I have lived on my own (fully one half of my life now) I have learned how to handle situations like this... thankfully, I have not had it with these people yet, I'll just have to see how this plays out first. But, the apartment I had before this one, over 2 years ago, I successfully sued them for damages to my property and what not... the landlord's were a lawyer and his wife, and they must have thought they were dealing with a naive young woman. Ha, I represented myself against them in court and won. I am still sure to this day I could have gotten more if I had been so inclined to go for it. Haha I love the feeling you get when you take uppity people to court and sue their asses. But... I am hoping this won't go that way, because despite the sweet smell of victory, it is always much nicer to avoid the hassle to begin with.
