For almost 5 years now, I've toyed with the idea of collecting comics again after something like a 12 year hiatus. It all began over 25 years ago, I became enthralled with the super-hero medium after borrowing a few comics from my friend Todd Moore. We're talking 6th grade here, kids. Something about the hero genre, color scheme, and overt action just pulled me in...

Yo dude...
Thanks for the support. It's day to day here really.
As far as the job, I was hired by the Gloucester County Times as a staff writer. They have me starting Sept. 17. Right now it's an hour drive from the burbs, but I'm looking to relocate to the city once things cool down around here.
It's more money, but it means less hockey for me unfortunately.
The comic bug's bite is very strong and I've been struggling not to fall victim to it. I stopped collecting when they killed off Superman. It was my first "what the fuck?" moment growing up.

I think you messaged me twice.
I've just been really busy with work. Its literally taking up 85% of my time, the rest has been sleeping. Oh, and going to free concerts in NY. The show was awesome, a little bit hot, but awesome.
So...yeah. Don't get your panties in a bunch, I will be getting back to you soon. Hopefully by next week everything will calm down enough so I can actually make plans with people again.

Another 4th of July Psuedo Party has come and gone. Much fun was had by all...not to mention liquor. For something to kill excess time with, check out the pictures.

Thanks for hanging out the other night. I had a good time. Triumph was DEFINATELY a winner.

So, I ended up catching a flick at the Ritz yesterday on a whim. The film in question is called Brand Upon the Brain!. By far one of the weirdest fuck'n films I have had witness to see.
Basically it's components are:
1 Part David Lynch Film
1 Part Silent Film of the 20's (imagine the original Nosferatu)
1 Part Acid Trip (taken beyond...

I miss the Ritz (all of 'em, really) so much. The closest thing I have to "art-house" out here is to catch a screening of "Sicko!"
So how was the trip?
So how was the trip?
So, Im back from Deutshebag-land. I've got a major headache, my arm is aching, and I'm in desperate need of a decent slice of pizza.
I'll post more later...pics, stories, blah, blah. For all three of you that read this tripe.

I listen to my guilty pleasure of 94.1 I can't help it I like kidd chris, opie and anthony barsky(I hate huggy and matt) they are stupid jocky and nerdy. They are people Ithat I would have hated in school but with that said I still listen to it. If I don't I will turn on ben fm, or my ipod. I suppose I will have to turn on the "Radio" tomorrow morning and test it out...just so I can confirm that radio sucks

So I've come to a conclusion...the TV show SCRUBS is one of my favorite shows. Of all-time. Every episode I've seen over the past years (save for the 'musical' one) has made me bust out-loud laughing at least 5 times per show. It's just stinking funny, no doubt about it.
On another note, checked out The Stooges and Placebo shows this week. Both were pretty...

True. It's a good show - one of the best, perhaps, in this modern era?
Thanks for the comment. I quoted you in my new post.

Funny you should mention that.....
I will be in Philly for a little over a week in July - from the 6th to the 15th. We WILL be getting together and we WILL be drinking copious amounts of beer and if Rob and Regina have to join us to accomplish this mission.....well you better buckle your helmet up real tight and say a prayer to your mamma, soldier, 'cause the ticket you just bought ain't for no kiddy ride, that's fer damn sure.
Any good shows coming to Philly for that week?
