Tonight was fun as usual. I started to run out of steam during the second half of the night however.
I have this huge paper looming over my head right now that I'm only 1/3 of the way done with. I have to argue Michael Haneke's succeses and failures in capturing the problems that French people face in dealing with immigration, racism, xenophobia, etc.

Who wants to sing along with me? song here.
It might also help to picture my goofy blue haired avatar bobbing back and forth with some random finger snapping and goofy faces, cause that's what I'm doing right now listening along with you. This song always puts me in a good mood. You have to promise to yell out punk rock girl with your best...

oops double post. I guess I got a little too antsy with the send button.
I just recently sent out two messages with the general question of friends in mind, so I felt like asking these in my journal.
When you talk to people on the internet or in real life do you hold things back from them?
If so, why?
And does the internet have anything to do with the previous question?
I suppose I do this more on...

No, its probably a good thing as i would be an alcoholic and a speed addict all in one fell swoop.

Damnit, you're probably right about the timestamp thing. . . but i'm going to continue beleiving that there's a timewarp in SG that i've tapped into and am currently plummeting through space-time.
To answer your question:
To some extent yes, in both situations. Which seems odd when i think about it, because i usually don't hold anything back. I'm blunt, crass, brutally honest (almost to a fault sometimes), obnoxious, don't care what people think of me, and i don't hold anything back. . . .
Unless i see some sort of machiavellian advantage in holding something back. <shifting eyes>
Another reason is because i don't want to give it all up at once. The comment i get the most from people who have known me for a really long time is, "Damnit. . .every time i think i figured out your insanity, you go and do something like this and i'm back to square-1 trying to figure you out."
If i don't hold anything back, there's nothing new for people later on.

I just finished watching Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. That movie is pretty cool. I liked how they shot it all in 70's kung fu style.
Edit: By pretty I mean fucking, and by cool I mean Radical!

That's much better, thank you.
And yes, it is the very same bag, on the tag with the washing instructions. I am proud to own one.

Try to remember your best jew jokes because my good friend raulduke77 aka Jake just moved to Israel to be more Jewish. He loves Skrewdriver so don't be intimidated to leave him your worst jew jokes (honestly, he'll love them). Yeah I'm kinda drunk right now. Give me a break though, I just had an awsome night with dovienya and venice. All that aside,...

Onions? Fuck me, I once skinned a bag of grapes with my chobber. I was very slidy.
Woo Hoo. I just got back from picking up my motorcycle, and with the sweet space age upgrades I got put on I can now drive it in more than one gear. Nothing else new really, just lots o' school stuff and trying to get a good grade.

it tastes like peppermint, well the good stuff does
i repierced my other nostril just after the new year, so i guess yes the number is always changing, most i've had simultaneously was 18, right now i'm only wearing jewelry in 1 and i have 12 holes open, if that makes sense, but i thought about letting them all heal up, which is weird for me....

Transportation is nice!
Not too much new lately. I've just been going to school all week and staying away from the internet. My friend Alex's little brother randomly showed up in Portland yesterday and will be staying at my place until Tuesday. Apparently he got really drunk on his birthday (the 9th) and randomly bought a plane ticket here for absolutely no reason at all. His coming here...

Howdy, i was being nosey after seeing your post in the pdx group. You from Phoenix?
Last night was fun as usual. I always enjoy hang outs with the sgpdx crew. It seems that at every event I tend to talk to 1-2 new people at length as opposed to generally running around and talking with everyone. Hopefully after a few months I'll know all of you well enough to consider you all my friends. I don't think I could've possibly...

Damn it. My shifter stopped working on my bike and in the worst conditions possible. At least they have a good public transportation system here. It might be a week and a half to two weeks before I get it back.

I guess at least it's only 10 pages and you have access to Google.
I know what you're sayin about going out and hiding the stress. It doesn't help to sit at home and pine about it, reinforcing the stress. Going out could be good for your state of mind. But sometimes it just doesn't cheer you up. And then you dont want to bring everyone else down either. I'm a big advocate of "If you're gonna come out and stay grumpy and piss everyone else off, don't come. We can have a good time wihout you (no you of course, but the general you-everyone)
Last time i listened to the Pogues? in college. My roommate was straight up NYC Irish. And we drank. Heavily.
