RIP Tony Wilson. frown

.

I feel the same as I felt when I heard about John Peel...
tafkasp:
Next to perhaps The Smiths, New Order and Joy Division were probably the two biggest influence of my early adolescence. I owe a great debt of gratitude to the man for helping to bring that music to the masses.

I am honestly devastated at the moment.

What will I do without my Weekly World News?

I'm truly bereft and forlorn. frown

I loved the WWN. This is terrible, I will miss learning about Batboy and vampires.

Again with the religion, but I am not religious.

This makes me LAUGH. Might even be better than Weird Al's cover.

so busy lately, long hours at work but getting a lot better now that we are getting the studios built out and getting some staff in the place.

I need to do more but work and sleep, it's been a binary cycle lately!

that video is hilarious. I grew up with those people.

Dear Generic Claritin-D,

Wow.

I dreamt that *I* was wearing the Aphex Twin bear suit. And other stuff.

Psychedelic dreams mixed with a pseudoephedrine high. Fuck off, sinuses!!

In conclusion, I'm not sure about our future relationship. You scare me a little bit.

Severely yours,

L.

That stuff and Robitussin make for the craziest dreams.

I really have no words for the moment. None of my own, anyway. blackeyed

So instead I'll leave you with some Anais Nin quotes.

"We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward,...

i love those quotes.

i'm not normally one for writing lots. especially about how i feel. but recently i feel like i could write pages and pages. i think it's because there is so much going on inside my head.
it also seems that i have aquired a better way with words recently too. when speaking. but specifically with one person. i'm not sure what that means.

i look forward to your email smile

I think that I am going through some kind of midlife crisis already. I've lived enough for at least several lifetimes, and some of them are but a faded memory. (And that is a good thing)

I also seem to be a social pariah, but for a change, it's them, not me. The only thing I might be guilty of is being an incredible hermit,...

If you're out there, you're vulnerable. People prefer to disappear in life, to repress their personality. That's not living. It's dying. I see them all over the place, the walking dead. - Grace Jones

Excellent quote.

I'll share one from my wall.

Its hour is now.

Always."

Synergy! We have no exit strategy.

That's all I got for now. I've had 12 hours of sleep. All week.

I've seen that ridiculous claptrap he posted in other places before. I've resigned myself to the fact that the SG I joined no longer exists, but that kind of bullshit just crosses a line. I can't take complete credit for the response though. Were it on the boards I probably would have just quoted and linked it.

zenfish:
That's and awesome skit.

Ahh, I so miss Mad TV.
