Hey Everybody!

I’ve been so busy with my movie project that I almost forgot to announce that “Burning Feather,” my submission to the annual micro fiction contest run by the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival and CthulhuCon, was accepted for publication ! This tale of a horrifying secret hidden in human evolution joins “Little Ones” and “Nemesis” as my 3rd short story to be published by

As I was viewing @saria and @mimo’s new set, S’more Toasted Feeling, I was spellbound by the perfection of their pairing. Their energy is so magnetic and the intimacy of their entanglements so engaging that I had to pause and look more closely for what was drawing me in. Mind you, I am bisexual, so make no mistake, the eroticism of the set is not

@wooman - that’s a good argument for making the lettering more robust, viewing it as a metaphorical representation of the curvy girls. But as I stated previously, SG didn’t pay me to do this, so I have no plans for working on it further. On the other hand, if @Missy and Eirenne chat about it and choose to use the design for a new logo, they might agree with you and use the existing lettering for the current logo, and I wouldn’t have any issue with that, after all, SG is their baby, I just made a little bit of art with it, emphasis on the little. I am not in the position to receive any compensation. Thank you for the feedback, though. Thanks for putting my blog on the FP, @Eirenne. You’re the best. 🙂

Today is Juneteenth - and in today’s political climate I want to make it EXTREMELY clear that I stand with the black community and celebrate their freedom. The fact that people who looked like me ever had the audacity to believe black people should be enslaved still turns my stomach to this day. For those of you who have been ignoring me; take note: the...

As you probably know very well, the black inferiority idea comes from a desire to feel superior on the part of the guys with better weapons and the convenient garbage scientific theories supplied by cooperative but careless researchers currying favor with the slave owners whose financial interests were served. Slavery is an ancient human tradition, though, and while despicable, it at least made some sense at one time. Technology has made it obsolete now but it's still going on because there are dreadful people around and many of them are in positions of power. History will not be kind, assuming we avoid a nuclear war and even have a future. Fingers crossed.
dhyani:
Well said, @jozsef. The influence of the Ancient Romans in particular is a factor here, I think. The “founding fathers” of the United States drew a lot of their ideas for the model of our government from the Roman Republic, and sadly, slavery was an integral part of Roman society. Yes, human history is marred by a great deal of horrific behavior, which is something we should keep in mind when we choose to embrace “traditional” ideas of the past.

You’re welcome! It’s a fun book! If you’re interested in the history of women in Hollywood, check out her first book, “The Lady from the Black Lagoon: Hollywood Monsters and the Lost Legacy of Milicent Patrick.”  It’s available as an audio book, too. The author has a wicked feminist sense of humor. 😉 Thanks for the follow, too! 🤗

Now I’m really curious about this book! 🤩

🙂 No worries; we recognized that “a little while” in your case meant several hundred years when you checked it out, and we’ve been using a photocopy edition temporarily. That being said, only the original of the Clypeus Ignis which you borrowed contains the handwritten footnotes and secondary translations made by an unknown author that provide allow the reader to manifest defenses against non-corporeal entities such as Fear wraiths, pseudo-angels, and emotional vampires. I hope you made good use of it. We do have a person on our waitlist who will be very happy to know it’s finally available; it may not be obvious, but this book is very much needed in this era. Thank you for returning it. Are there any other volumes you’re looking for today?

Thank you for tagging me, @ferkixlll. I hope my responses aren’t too boring. 🤗💗💋

1. 3 favorite things you like about Spring.

1. The return of warmth and rain. I love the snow in Washington, but eventually a girl wants to walk in the evening without freezing to death.
2. Seeing roses awaken after hiding in their thorns all winter.
3. Dress weather! I love

Great answers. I think that there is an ordinance about going to France and giving Paris a miss. There has to be Equal Rights for those on Vampire hours.

Nicely done. Good animation.

Thanks, @ferkixlll! It’s just a light test for Erika. Since her skin is dark and she wears black throughout the film, any nighttime scenes will be a bit like filming the metaphorical black cat in a dark room that is discussed in the film itself. The black and white test made it clear that the exposure levels have to be higher to catch Erika’s expressions and movements, as well as some creative lighting as shown in the video here. 🤗💗
