Well, I finally made a decision about what I am going to do for Thanksgiving. My mom is going to be in India during that time, and so all of my friends have been inviting me over to their houses in and around the Bay Area. And of course there was the usual family thing going on in Sacto this year. But the truth is,...

I don't HAVE to give anyone a tour, and being an antisocial twat as I am, it rarely happens.
One "hires" me in whiskey anyhow.
And that add was long overdue. kiss

you can ply me with duty-free, love. Now that's a cheap date. wink

Cute!

What are the phone numbers? I didn't realize you were from the Grants Pass area??? I spent a lot of time there at one point in my life.

Thanks for the comments about the art.

I've known about Blackwater for a while. I did a lot of research about them several years ago. I was never completely aware of how aggressive there tactics were, or how many of their soldiers were actually deployed or available for deployment.

I'll have to check out that link.

Thanks, man.

This past weekend was a bit of a bust productivity wise, but I did manage to have my shit together enough to respond intelligently when my professor cold called me today in class. While the weekend was lacking in the studying department, I did get a fair amount of quality relaxation in, which was much needed after last week, which seemed to start out bad,...

yes, we do. I've been in a totally bitchy mood lately though, so let me get out of that first, and then we can hang out.

oh, and i forgot to tell you, I read your journal on monday and Im really proud of you for being excited and active in the NALSD. I guess there is a big group for the deaf (i dont know if its a little sub-branch or something), and my teacher was trying to get me to go to a meeting and possibly become a translator for them. But, I always love hearing about people actually going to meetings and getting active instead of sitting around and bitching, you know?

One person who has totally kicked my ass into gear with stuff like that is Belljar.

Well, another weekend down. Pretty good mix of studying, personal business seen too, closet cleaning(finally!!!), and just general hanging out. Nothing quite like a well balanced weekend to make you ready for the coming work/school week.

Hey All,
My Parisian ex-step-sister is looking for some advice as to what book she should pick to translate for her 2nd year project. Any and all suggestions would are appreciated. Here is an edited version of her Facebook request.*

The summer's been quite busy for me and... to my disbelief and delight, I have been accepted into the second year of my translation MA....

I don't think mine shows up either, and it's not a big deal... just a shift in the parts of my life I want up for public consumption.

My sister left this morning after a week long visit, and I have to say I will miss her. I totally got out of my productivity groove during her stay. That is to be expected I guess. The weird part is though, I really started to miss my intense study routine after only three days of her being here. I missed knowing all (or nearly)...

Dear God, I think I may have a slight crush on one of my Profs...she walked by me in the hall today and casually said "good answer today in class"...I think I swooned a little.

Also, I may have alienated some fellow students in one of my other classes last night when I seemed to be only one of two people contributing to the discussion....

A quote from my con(stitutional) law professor in today's lecture:

Well, counting the days until classes start again. Both sad that my summer is coming to a close and excited about the upcoming semester. I have three classes that I am really excited about:

1) Constitutional Law I - I get to finally understand how fucked up our current administration is, and from one of my favorite teachers too!!!

2) Business Associations - I am...

Back in the Bay...too tired to make it out to the Lovemakers' record release party tonight, but I trust my roommate, mikemac581 is representing the household adequately. I have a ton to do in the next few weeks, and classes start back up on the 13th. Hope y'all are well.

I think my favorite is, "Pepsi Brings Your Ancestors Back From the Grave." That's some powerful fucking soda.

Hmmm, classes start early. What's your schedule like?
