I've known about Blackwater for a while. I did a lot of research about them several years ago. I was never completely aware of how aggressive there tactics were, or how many of their soldiers were actually deployed or available for deployment.

oh, and i forgot to tell you, I read your journal on monday and Im really proud of you for being excited and active in the NALSD. I guess there is a big group for the deaf (i dont know if its a little sub-branch or something), and my teacher was trying to get me to go to a meeting and possibly become a translator for them. But, I always love hearing about people actually going to meetings and getting active instead of sitting around and bitching, you know?

Well, another weekend down. Pretty good mix of studying, personal business seen too, closet cleaning(finally!!!), and just general hanging out. Nothing quite like a well balanced weekend to make you ready for the coming work/school week.

Well, counting the days until classes start again. Both sad that my summer is coming to a close and excited about the upcoming semester. I have three classes that I am really excited about:
1) Constitutional Law I - I get to finally understand how fucked up our current administration is, and from one of my favorite teachers too!!!
Back in the Bay...too tired to make it out to the Lovemakers' record release party tonight, but I trust my roommate, mikemac581 is representing the household adequately. I have a ton to do in the next few weeks, and classes start back up on the 13th. Hope y'all are well.
