Well, I'm off to Seattle tomorrow morning. I'm a bucket of nerves, and my lady isn't entirely excited about my going (one step closer to my moving, and her staying here). She's taking me to the airport in the morning, and she lives closer to the airport than I do, so I'm staying over there tonight. She's happy about that (though I'm not looking forward...

So last night I was talking to my friend about SG, and I mentioned I'd been a member for... well, ever. We got talking about it, I dispelled some rumours (the whole "i heard a ton of people left and that SG owners are bad people" crap) and eventually he mentioned having considered shooting sets for SG. Sadly, though, he said he'd feel too awkward...

Fingers crossed, check.
And those aren't rumors. I left for a year myself, in the Great Exodus.

It's happened a few times, really. A lot of SGs and then a lot of members. Like the Great Zotting of '04. It tends to be mostly in "hub" cities. But yeah, I'm here.
And yeah, those pics are quite cool.

a large portion of my sg friends are grey now. that blows...
corey and i went costume shopping tonight and realised the costumes suck/don't fit/are expensive. And the missing piece of my Silent Bob costume is a brown wig (kevin smith's hair is short and spikey like mine, but Silent Bob... nope), and oh yeah... my head is so gigantic that the place didn't stock...

OMG I KNOWWW!!!! Seriously! they BETTER work their shit out!!
Is the audio out of sync for anyone else? probably... I've noticed issues like that with videos put up by slctunes-related people. Anyway, yes... enjoy watching Ryan, Oliver, Chad and Dan play "Wolf Eyes" to a bunch of drunk people (and Will Sartain, whom you'll see constantly). I know I did.
And being a complete sucker for Green Tea Frapps... this photo is undeniably hot:...

my week in idahore was ass-tastic, but I met Peter Cetera (you know... high singing Chicago guy) and flew with Mariel Hemmingway. No shit. And my dad's wife is a manipulative bitch bitch.
god what an awful week. but watching my dad do shots of tequila was surreal. and my brother gets hitched tomorrow, so i get to dress up all fancy and look hot....

Wait, being blown on by a machine is a plus?
I'm terribly picky. See, I dig tattoos/piercings, but certain types bug the hell out of me. I really abhor chestpieces, on guys and girls (no offence if you have one... I really have no say in what you put on or do to yr body). I hate when people over-gauge their ears (a girl i sort of know... tangentially, really, friend of a friend... has...

Ya know, the bedskirt thing is a brilliant idea. I'm thoroughly excited to go to the fabric store now.
And people who are as flighty as you've described should be prohibited from making permanent body modifications or having children. In my obnoxious opinion...

What an unexpected day at work today. I arrived at work late (as per the usual... since I have entirely lost interest and had planned on giving 2 weeks notice on monday) to get an IM from my boss asking me to come chat with him. Oh boy. As expected, I started to get the "your work ethic has fallen off, yr not putting in...

i guess i didn't realize that "sewer" could be taken a different way, until I read it in your comment back to me.. and i read it as "s-ewwww-er" and was like.. ew gross! Then realizing that is exactly what threw you off while reading my entry. HA! the irony slays me.
I live a block or two away from a rather large park in SLC where every year one of the better non-stadium-related fireworks displays (well, for Utah at least) is held. I had planned on walking to an associate's house for a big bbq, but the rain today led me to believe it was cancelled, and that walking around my house aimlessly in my boxers...

OMG! I saw that oozinator thing too.. and it seriously blew my mind. thanks for reminding me of it though... it gave me a giggle in my belly.

I have the same problem, except where pain-killers are concerned. That's the one time it's not whether I'll actually be able to puke, but how uncontrollably. I don't much like that.
My boss still has my camera (twerp says it's in a box somewhere at the show... I'm expecting it to come back in pieces), but I did manage to get some images of some crap I made for work (literally... both of these, in actual design time, took less than 10 minutes to do, which should be readily apparent).

Excellent panties! Yeah, too many blondes though.
So... how do you define a boyfriend when the relationship is open and one sleeps with people they consider "just friends"?
Hence my dilemma.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I have. There's two remaining stressful situations that I don't want to get out of (the job, for instance, is good money and a good opportunity in a lot of important ways). I'm trying to make these situations less stressful right now. Which, in itself, leads to a certain amount of extra stress. Neither is a great situation at the moment, and it's taking a hell of a lot of work to get it to a point where it's better. Which...ugh. I just hope it won't kill me in the process. Cause that'd A) prove me wrong about being worth it and B) it'd be a big ol' bummer.
alyssum:
If it was just money, yeah. But I work with people who're like family to me, I get to travel a lot, get to do exciting things (maybe not day-to-day yet, but I'm laying the groundwork for that) and generally I know I'm helping people both inside and out of the company. The day-to-day is just a bit numbing at times.
My constant battle with the idea of moving to Seattle is leaning on the pro seattle side of the fence again. My buddy up there wants to get me in touch with his headhunter and get me a job. Apparently there are a lot of openings in my field if you know how to go about it right... but damn... that would be a big...

i hate working on saturdays, otherwise i would drive up there and we could mock the children of brigham young together...
