The assumption that anyone could ever love me is one only a child could make. I know that I'm unlovable, I know that more than you do. Don't think I'm sad about it or we're going to be here all day, and that's not what I wanted.

Good interview! It's always interesting to here how novels come together and to get an insight into the art of writing.

Pink is a good color in the background of a bathroom, your insides coming out...I would feel...the fall...and the spin...but don't think that I see you...I know your game..you can keep playing and soon everybody will see. The hold of deference the hold...............The hold......the hold...I can smell you...I can smell your rape...on my breath.

I love the article and think that Brom is an amazing artist. He is one of my favorites, up there with Frank Frazetta and Clyde Caldwell. Also love the Dark Sun series of books and all the artwork that went with them.

Interesting interview. Looks like I need to add some new books to my wishlist.

Why can't you tell the truth...and how do you have the energy to act so?

Cory Doctorow has made me wait almost a year to read Homeland, the much-anticipated sequel to Little Brother, his opus on civil rights and protest in the digital age. With another Doctorow novel, Pirate Cinema, already on the release schedule for 2012, Homeland has had to loiter in the wings until February...

Warren Ellis is the shit. Red spanned 3 issues that somehow got expanded to an 80+ minute film. His work is tight, thoughtful, and mind expanding. I am excited about Gun Machine turning into TV. Hopefully it will fare better than Global Frequency.
Check out the motion comix for Dead Space!
kundalini:
Yes, Ellis can be masterful when he gives a shit. Having typed that, I somehow suspect that the end of Gun Machine isn't fully his - that an editor wrested it away from him somehow. It feels like too much shite to be Ellis. Ellis is either craftily fucking with the genre, tongue-in-cheek (The Authority) or using the genre to fuck you (Crecy.) The end of Gun Machine is just fucked. smile

I lost my hands in an industrial accident! I have a chicken living in a bucket! Mouthpocket! The chicken wont stop staring at me! Did I mention my friend hurt my feelings!...

I love Fables. I remember being excited just by reading the premise of the story. I couldn't wait for my first graphic novel to arrive and I've loved everyone since.

Another new interview! smile I really liked her in her good movies like Wristcutters, but oh man, there were some bad ones too. And now I know why she hasn't been in much lately... As much as I tend to love her in movies, she does seem very "new age" in interviews...like the names for her kids whatever

Wristcutters was a great movie. I loved the actual story too. That is definitely where I found out about her and fell in love. Then saw her again in Dirt on FX, that wasn't bad
