He was confused and thought that he was listening to a woman playing ethereal Japanese music over his car radio. I asked where he was listening from and he replied that he was in L.A., outside our broadcast range....

I'm not really sure how to respond here....
well firstly, I suppose.....I started enjoying life here a little over my first year. The cold really does thicken your blood, though I am still very much a warm blooded heat lovin' gal, and can rarely leave the house without a scarf. But really I started liking it becase I stopped feeling sorry for myself. Yes, I also do in fact LOVE the sun and the beach....but the cities here.....
there is SO much to do, and it's inexpensive and people are AWESOME, rarely do I come across the high snobbery that I got in cali. This little place is so underated....it's an awesome place for music, movies, art, food, everything. The Walker art museum alone makes it amazing, but then there are tons of venues, communities, co-ops, bike trails, festivals, there is honeslty never a boring moment here. It's super-duper great!! And you would never know it, which makes it all the better.
but hey maybe you could come for a visit......though I'm not sure where you could stay....but still you could meet all the cool people here, and knowing "minnesota nice" I'm sure someone would let you in.......but i'm glad you feel the way you do. you know? yer super-duper too. heh.
