Doing renovations on the loft...Put a cieling on our wardrobe enclosure, lined it with cedar and installed cabinetry. Lot's of painting, and finally ridding the wolrd of the horrid taupe in our bathroom.

Thanks for your advice, sweetheart.

It's similar to what someone else told me as well. A co-worker explained how she had been dating a guy for 3 years and it was always a big fight, about the most unessecary things. When she got out of that relationship she went travelling in Thailand, and met someone who's she's been with for quite a while.. and she says she's never experienced something like this, that now she realizes there are people out there that you will not fight with, and will just get along with.

So just a quick update:

Started a new job, building Trailers for ATCO...It's pretty fun, I get to play with cranes and stuff.

Went on the Calgary scooter gang ride today.

JoyfulDemise crashed her scooter.

She's a brave little soldier though, and the bandaid across the bridge of her nose makes her look tres kissable.

In other news rafting on the weekend was Idyllic, with nobody crashing anything.

No recipe today, I have to go cuddle JoyfulDemise and stroke her hair and tell her it's all fine.

Wooohooo!

My man Vinokourov won on the champs today. That was just hardcore balls out cycling. I love to see that.

We went rafting on saturday, and it was moderately miserable, what with the wind and the somewhat cool temperatures, but any afternoon spent with Janet and JoyfulDemise in Bikinis can't be a total loss.

Rafting might resume next sunday, though as always weather permitting....
