I just took some photos of a beautiful garden spider, called the golden orb spider. I might even post one for you guys. Yesterday, I spent a while taking pictures of dragonflies and got a rather nice shot as well. The ones living in our back yard are bright red, and look great sitting on green leaves. I need to go get some drawings finished...

I would love to see some of those pics. Down in Louisiana they have these gigantic dragonflies that are blue and green and just love to buzz right past your head.

and thanks for the comment, I've actually been told to sell flash to shops before... I just can never think of designs to do... and I don't draw that often anymore, but I'm going to school for art, and I want to eventually get my tattooing and piercing license.

no, actually... I just take art classes at the community college...I'm too poor for RISD haha and I absolutely hate the people that go there, and I doubt I'm good enough to get in; my art teachers last semester told me to apply, though

hey, huge *HUGGG* back! and thanks so much for the kind words. it is kind of an "it is what it is" situation, for both of us respectively, i suppose. sometimes it just feels good to expose a hurt and let it be witnessed, with empathy. not always so encouraged in our culture, but a good thing, nonetheless. i think just the witnessing can be really healing, even if it doesn't "cure" or "fix" the situation right away. so here's to seeing each other as best we can!
