On the eve of Super Tuesday, I lament Oregon's 45th place in the primaries. Those of you living in states that actually get to be influential in this process, please vote. And if it's not asking too much, please vote for Obama. biggrin

I think the first two times I went to brunch, I actually ordered a regular meal. But now I just order a tiny side dish, usually the diced potatoes. Including tip it is $3!

I know it makes me look like I'm anorexic, but the truth is that I'm really Just That Cheap.

I love seeing people but I haaaaaaate paying for restaurant food when I have a kitchen full of groceries (which is where most of my money goes in the first place)

Fuck, it's freezing outside. 25 degrees is not a temperature that motivates me to go to work. Why can't it just snow already so this town will shut down and I can go back to bed?

Okay, I didn't even drink that much last night and I've felt out of it all day. I can't imagine what the rest of you must have felt like. At least I know now to plan one bottle of champagne per guest. Good times indeed.

We've returned from Eureka. It hardly seemed like we were gone, the days went by so quickly. It was a great visit with the fam, and although the weather pretty much sucked the whole time, it didn't matter. Looking back, I see that I haven't written an actual journal that didn't involve lolcats in quite awhile. I waste all of my brain cells at work, then on the couch watching TV. Someday I'll have a brain again and I'll write a real journal. But for now, Boondocks is on the DVR.
