My modem is about six years old and going strong so they do last. You are probably having some sort of signal issue. Open your browser and type in 192.168.100.1 that will take you into your modem. If you have a rca modem click on diagnostics, if it's a motorola surfboard click on signal. Your recieved signal strenth should be between a negative 10 and a positive 10. The closer to zero the better. Your return path signal strengh should be between 32 dbmv and 48 dbmv. If you ping a site (we use comcast.com) you shouldn't have any time outs. Check this out and let me know how it's looking.

Saw Mono at this place the North Six. The only thing I heard from them before that was the split they did with Pelican and I'm surprized I enjoyed them so much.
As for the place, its about a block away from where that Craft Fair that I missed you guys was at. I'm a big fan. Its one of my favorite venues.
Its a fairly small open space (can probably fit 200 - 300 people (but when a big band is playing there they'll just stuff people inside until no one else fits)), that was some sort of factory before that. Has a great sound system. They just let some really cool stuff happen there. Completely DIY run by local music nerds and put on all kinds of different stuff. Think First Unitarian Church but slightly more modern.
But yeah, good show!

I completely agree with you. Consider the fact that it cost MILLIONS of dollars to make, edit, and advertise for this stinking pile of dog shit - I think I'd rather they take all the money that would be wasted on that film, put it in a big pile, and light it on fire.
