I'm not sure what my feelings on karma are either. If it exists, it certainly isn't as cut and dry as we'd like to think. I mean, we're rarely rewarded in any identifiable way for being especially considerate or disciplined or generous...and at the same time are often allowed to get away with bad behaviour without consequence.
I'm still trying to figure out what the reason for all this is. Is it to teach me something? Like to be more careful with my possesions, or to not take things for granted (like being able to get to work in under 15 minutes)? Or maybe it has nothing to do with me, and it has to do with this person who stole it and how they needed some kind of intervention to set their life straight, even if it does end up being jail. Or maybe if I'd been able to drive to work on Sunday I would have gotten into this big accident. Who can say? It's not over yet, anyway.
