I FINALLY GET TO PLAY THIS!! ^___^
I studied media years ago, I know all about codes and conventions of films. I basically ruined my cinematic life forever. So I don't find any horror films scary, they're all predictable as hell. I like watching them but I never lose any sleep over them, they're never scary.
Video games though - nope, nope, nope. You get more involved with games. A film is like a rollercoaster, you're along for the ride regardless of what you do. Games are different, there's cause and effect.
And this is where Alien Isolation or Nightmare Fuel, as I'm calling it, comes in. I LOVE the Alien films. I watched them when I was far, far too young to be watching films that had things bursting out of people. I've always loved parasites, that probably makes me a bit odd, I remember one of the first dates I had with my girlfriend was about parasites (she studied veterinary science for her first degree) and yeh.
I won't be sleeping tonight ^______^
