I was just thinking about other gigs relevant possibly to SG inc was Motorheads Bomber tour which I saw at Hammersmith - very loud and I was very drunk. Also I saw a lot of those anarchist bands which were around at the time - Senser Back to the planet Ozric tentacles Radical Dance faction looking back on it they were a bit shit. The only gig that I have walked out of was Dido understandable I think. Bands that have not been as good live when I have seen them are massive attack and Sonic Youth though with massive attack he had just been raided by Special Branch. Sonic youth I thought were great when I was younger but they seemed to have lost the edge though they did teenage riot. Also Primal scream did not do Loaded which pissed me off. And BRMC just seemed Catatonic when I saw them. Not all bands live up to expectation when you see them live. Though people who I thought were great were Chas and Dave. I don't know about going to see some of those veterans like george Clinton and Lee perry I think they have lost touch with reality. I remember going to see Richard Thompson in a tent. Somebody I did really enjoy because I love Koyannasquatsi was Philip Glass who did the music to a Cocteau film.
