Getting settled in SF after a week in the ATL and a cross-country trip back through LA and a few days there. I picked up Route 66 in Oklahoma and was able to stick to towards the end of the trip.
Had an unexpected moment in Atlanta where I missed SF for a moment-- not what i was expecting after barely two months in city, the craziness of a new (short-term) job, etc. Now that I'm back it's time to end this short hiatus and find another.
I've definitely had some love-this-city moments since i've been back. Thankfully i'm back on a bike again after having mine stolen the night before i left town. Bikes have become my new healthy/unhealthy obsession. I now have an old Schwinn and just bought an old Motobecane yesterday that I'm planning to fix up ASAP. I've had a few annoyed-with-this-city moments as well, but they mainly have to do with seemingly waiting in line EVERYWHERE and during the unfortunately incidents when i decide getting in the car is a good idea. Not so bad really.
Here's to enjoying the remaining time i have off!
