Well, I've been a member for a few months now so I guess I better start blogging if I want any friends...
Today way my typical Saturday. I woke up and ate a powerlifters breakfast - steak and pancakes with strawberry toppings. Next, I chugged a few cups of coffee and my son and I headed off the gym for heavy squat day. We have a pretty good group, and there is never a shortage of challenges and friendly competition.
I was especially proud of my son today. He squatted 515 + 120 lbs of chain (if you don't know what chain squats are, watch the vid or ask me). He is 15 years old and weights 165 lbs. It's straight up hard core for a kid that small to un-rack 635 lbs. Phenomenal!
