So I took my bike in for its 20 hour service and I got some bad news. Apparently rats had decided that my wiring harness was tasty. The dealer quoted me $500 for a new wiring harness and a minimum of five hours to install it at $100/hr. I found a brand new harness for $115 with shipping included.
So today me and my brother decided to change it out ourselves. It took a while to dismantle the bike.
Then we ended up having a mad max looking four wheeler.
It took a couple of hours to rewire it all back, then another hour to put all the plastics back. But she runs and drives like a champ now.
This is the old harness that I'm keeping for all the fuses it has left in it that will come in handy down the road.
I love having a man card, most people I know wouldn't have even attempted it.
