IT'S THE BITCH ABOUT MINISTRY BREAKING UP BLOG:
I had just noticed that it had been over a week since my last blog entry here so, despite the lack of any truly extraordinary news I figured I would go ahead and post yet another one. So, I haven't left the house too much this week. I've been recording the hell out of some music though, nothing on the computer thats new yet though, though I'm pretty sure I'll have more there soon too. I've mostly been recording stuff for the collaborative projects I have lined up but a bit here and there of my solo stuff has been poked at too, it would seem that in a few months there will be quite a bit of music out in the lesser noticed sects of the music world that I will have had my hand in. I can't wait 'til I get through this stuff, it seems the ideas have been flowing through my head like water, I'd like to think that'll never stop, 'til I get older and gray.
The only other news that I can bring to the plate for now is that I'm finally gonna get together with one of the best chess players I know and have him school me around on Sunday. He's a good friend and I can't wait to learn from him! It seems I pretty much never see anyone beat this guy despite getting to watch him play A LOT OF CHESS so, it'll be great to get a look into his brain for a minute.
Beyond that, I don't know of any good upcoming shows or anything like that aside from the Ministry show that I have to miss due to working instead, and the show being sold out regardless. But it's their last tour so, I really would have rather not missed it. I never did get a chance to see them perform live, closest I got was back on their "Dark Side of the Spoon" tour; I had my tickets, went to the show, sat through 30-45 minutes of Mudvayne as the openers, waited another 30 minutes only to hear a voice come over the PA saying that Ministry would not be performing that evening due to Al Jourgensen having throat troubles.... ........fishy? I thought so. Anyway, that night I did get to meet Paul Barker, though he did lie to us and say that they'd be back soon to make up for the cancellation and never did which I thought was kinda shitty all and all he seemed like a fairly nice guy....... whatever. Now they're doing their fairwell tour and if you don't catch them on this one you won't catch them....... does anyone else feel robbed?
