Last night I got pulled over.

It was for a headlight out that I can't afford to fix.

Then I discovered that I had 290$ worth of unpaid parking tickets.

He said he was going to take me to jail until Monday if I didn't pay.

Luckily I just got my check for Corporate Cannibal.

I absolutely feel you on the singleness bit. I'm not, but I understand that conflict that can come between the easy comparison between attachment to a partner and problems that arise from attachment in general. Good luck with the enlightenment bit - a warrior's path is solitary, as they say, but it sounds like you're doing a good job with the rough parts by yourself. That's the best place to be to make the right decisions, even when love strikes again.

Hooray for the painful dorkiness of boffer combat. Sorry, but the fact that you're not in-character doesn't mean that you don't share equal stigma alongside LARPers. I mean, it's hard to avoid stereotypes when there's always at least two bad teenager crustaches at every meeting.

Still, sounds like you'll be doing plenty of dressing up and going by a different name in roller derby! I'm a derby widow myself - it'll be, erm, interesting to see how derby changes your body. Not to say I'll get a chance, since I'm only back on for the three-month surprise subscription - but hey. Haven't been on since 2006, and yours is a particularly amazing surprise. Back with the internet. Thanks to a random college party I randomly attended. Not my scene whatsoever but I did stumble across a metal loving- Zac Effron look alike-IST major who gladly fixed my internet.....I'll be back again soon with tons of updates. Off to work...biggrin
