and yes, that bomb does say "ska." back in my hometown, there's a steep hill, and students from the local university paint advertisements on the wall. the ska fest was coming up the next week when i took the photo.

Sounds like you had a great birthday as well. Mine was pretty simple and low-key, had several friends over and we had tea and pies and ice cream and quesadillas. I think that I ate too much!!!
