The diner I spoke of is called the "Modern Diner" and I think the last time we were there, our friend said it is technically in Pawtucket.
On the subject of French Toast, I recommend their Strawberry stuffed version. It has ample amounts of the fruit in question, plus whipped cream cheese.
We will be in the Providence are in a couple of weeks and I hope to indulge once more in the incredible breakfast specials.

1. I'm pretty sure I have an addictive personality. I'm also pretty sure the only reason I'm not an alcoholic is because 1. I've never found oblivion in a bottle 2. Baking is an art unto itself. I wouldn't know where to begin if I had to "veganize" a recipe, although I guess the premise of sugar, fat, protein and sticky starch would help me in baking.
Your food blog is a great idea, I often modify recipes and forget to note what I did differently so I can make it again/avoid making the same mistake twice.

There's nothing wrong with sex, wanting sex, and thinking someone is attractive... but you're right, that was a truly tasteless and seemingly insincere gesture.
I got angry for similar reasons when the Jon-Benet Ramsey case exploded all over television, but I won't get into that. Suffice to say that I'm sorry the girl died and suffered such a tragic early end, but the way media handled it was just disgusting to me.
Exploitation of death and especially of the grieving...ugh. What the fuck.

Yes, indeed. Its the same over here, the sun does warm a bit though so in the daytime the temperature climbs up to plus degrees celsius, but then sinks back to brrrrrrrr and hrrrrrrrrr in the evening. I dont WANT it to do that. I want to be warm, for gods sakes!!!
