Been testing negative for a couple of weeks now, but am having ongoing autoimmune responses and now heart problems that my Dr said will likely last for at least a few months if not longer.

Sorry if I've been quiet around here. Not feeling super great and haven't really been able to do anything fun for a while.

Since I did a car way with my dad being covid positiv I'm caughing when exposed to electromagnetic fields. Not just 5G like could prentend stupid theories turning in derision serious observations. But it needs to know that it was already the case for influenza, wich name came from the facts ancients observed the sickness was influenced by sun activity... wich is producing electromagnetic waves on earth !

I've been lucky enough to avoid it up to this point, but now I'm having a really strong start to 2023 lol. Through the worst of it at least, but I can't wait until I can breathe normally, see friends, and get outside again.

Around this time two years ago, I was moving into a house with my partner. I thought we'd live in that house together for the rest of our lives. And on one hand - truly a blessing, I think, that that's not the case. On the other hand, it's a little unsettling to be moving into a new apartment, alone, after thinking I finally had...

Hindsight's a bitch, but she's usually right.  Foresight is the REAL challenge.. she's so elusive, but so tantalizing.  Sorry to hear you went so far with this guy because I have  to agree - sounds like he didn't like you much, or at least respect you much.  Which from what I can see of you is nothing but an indication of his own deficits.  I suspect he doesn't really like anybody much except for himself.  Anyway, I'm glad you're free to live your own life now, and happy to see you doing so with such aplomb!

I want to shoot a new set soon, and I have a few theme and cosplay set ideas I'd like to do, but also I'm not sure if it would better to do something simpler or what you guys would like to see?

I'll always be around here, but suspect I maybe only have one or two sets left in me (may not be the...

I wish I lived out there in Utah.  I love SG and would love to work with more SG models.  I would definitely help you out if I could.

Went for a rad Halloween bike ride with some rad people.

Got a job offer (which I accepted!) from my favorite company of the handful of companies I've been interviewing with. The people seem super nice and the benefits and flexibility are great. I start in a few weeks.

Successfully ran my first marathon at the most beautiful venue (and signed up for a 50...

Congrats!    Glad to hear U landed a job with a company you like.   I hope it's a great place for you!      I ran the Boston Marathon quite a few years ago; in my view, marathons are mostly a race with oneself, a challenge, unless you're top tier. I enjoyed it and hope you enjoy your long distance races.

congrats to everything. was a bit of in costa Rica and Guatemala.

hi hi, I'm overdue for an update - I know. Things have been hectic. I don't want to get too much into personal stuff right now just because other things in life are going better and are more interesting, but tl;dr since a few people have been asking: my ex is making things difficult with resolving our joint interests in the house we bought together...

I do most of my thinking on trail when I have alone time, and these days I don't have much alone time. Even a month ago I think I would have felt alarmed at the thought of that - not having much alone time. But these days it's a gift. My trail family feels like a real family. It's been a long time since I've...

I know the big group anxiety thing. It's been many years since I was comfortable in a large, public setting. I'm fine if I'm drinking, but I don't want to need something outside of me to be comfortable. Maybe I should try the AT next spring!

It's always magical to see the way a group gels around a common strenuous goal that everyone's invested in.  Our culture throws the word "community" around so much when we really mean people with a shared interest - at best.  A community to me is learning that Eli is always up before everybody and happy to be making eggs for all, and for my ex to treat his trenchfoot (because SOCKS ma dude), and that Eli's sister Sara always has a sensitive eye out to shifting social dynamics and will move to fix them, that if there's any trouble Dave is suddenly not as drunk as everyone else, and to see everybody realize that I will carry any load for anybody any time.  One of the great slow beauties of my current relationship has been sussing out how we work together and make our differences into strengths instead of points of contention.  I take the night shift and she takes the mornings, for instance; or that I'll brave the cold and she can take the heat.  For each other.

I've officially finished the first section of the PCT, the desert (miles 0-700), and am now well into the second section - the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Highlights of this section include a side trip to summit Mt Whitney (tallest peak in the continental US), Forester Pass (the highest point along the official PCT route), Rae Lakes, Thousand Island Lakes, and a stop in one...
