So I've been making a point to leave longer comments on sets. At least 2 full sentences. As much as it's so amazing to leave ANY kind of engagement on a set, I think it means more to the girls (at least that's what I tell myself) if I say something meaningful.

I’ve always tried to comment something meaningful on sets I really like. Even if I’m just saying how great the lighting is or how amazing the choice of outfit/lingerie is. I heard once that the length of comments make a difference on a set, so since then I’ve always made the effort. Although sometimes one word is all I can muster

@jeckyl @babel I’ve been here since 2014 and I can honestly say I’ve seen a drop in the number of models engaging with sets from others. Although I do see the same names pop up regularly on my feed commenting on sets and showing support/love to others. In honesty I think that promotion of only fans and of their own sets has become a priority. It’s almost becoming a market place rather than a community like it used to be. Don’t get me wrong a know a huge number of the models on here are old school and community driven, but to some SG will only be a mantle that comes with some extra kudos.

As a photographer myself I can say that the most important for SG shoots is to know the SG style, and you already got that down! Use other sets as reference for camera angles, poses, composition, etc. Lighting is also very important, in the beginning work only with soft natural light. And lastly, learn how to use Photoshop for color correction and skin retouch. You got this 💪

As a very long-time member of the LGBTQ community (I've been an ally since before "ally" was even a term!), it's great to win battle after battle, even if it took a long time and, sadly, people did get hurt along the way.  And I agree that SG has taken on the establishment and did win!  Woo Hoo!!! For that we need to celebrate!  But, again, as a we know in the LGBTQ community, those wins can be short lived.  The attack on the community, especially the trans community, are vicious and sometimes violent.  So SG and our community here need to keep fighting to keep "normal" all inclusive!  Keep doing what you do @jeckyl to keep moving forward!
