"99% of my photos are not meant to be sexual. If you interpret my work as being something sexual, fine. But I regret to inform you that you’ve been let down by your parents, peers, and society in understanding the difference between sex and nudity." - Thumbelina (A model and woman I look up to)

jacleric:
great quote.  female nudity is the most ancient form of fine art... and certainly not porn by default.  American society especially has long forgotten the difference

I love everything about you!

Have you heard of Sun Reset?

I was honored to shoot with the founder Matt Bokan. The set we shot is probably my most personally invested set I've ever collaborated on. There is a small story being told-- within a larger narrative centered around a prism-- that is my own: a 20-something year old stage actor trying to make "it" happen a world away...

While I was home for the holidays, Athens photographer @grantbeecherphoto and I squeezed in a photo shoot for SuicideGirls! Based on this teaser, what do you all think we should call the set? ...I was thinking "Devil's Advocate" but now I'm not so sure. Help me out, pretty please!

Jankura Artspace participated in the Big Draw this year, and they were the only ones hosting this international event in South Korea. I was honored to be their model for this year's theme: Mother Nature

The drawings above are from one of my favorite artists at Jankura. He is a graffiti artist and illustrator from Paris and has recently relocated to Seoul. He goes

Sarah, known as "ocean_moonchild" on Instagram, is the artist behind this beautiful Princess Mononoke transformation. She referenced a photo from a shoot I did in Nashville with photographer Mike McDougal... him and I actually shot our set around this time last year <3

I shot another SG set! This time I collaborated with the talented photographer @blackfrog.

I now have three sets waiting to be submitted into the queue... and then each one of them could potentially face a five month wait in MR. What ever shall I do?!? Answer: Submit them 1 - 3 months apart from each other. That is what I feel is the respectful and...

I was having my daily fun with the Hopefuls Alphabet Fun thread when saw some names still as hopefuls... names that should be Pink for ages now. I even made a list. And I was puzzled... how come? why? what are they doing wrong? I couldn't answer any one of those questions because they are gorgeous, have great and high quality sets on MR, are active around here, have lots of followers... than I bumped into your blog post. and you're so right! it is a matter that needs adressing... I don't talk to a lot of the girls here, but I already talked to 2 girls that lost their faith on SG and pretty much left... one of them was already pink but had no more interest on posting sets here and was moving to zivity or other site where she felt better about the process... I have to say you approached the problem in a wonderful way...  and I think yours is a wonderful idea... and @shannon___, I'm sorry but @flowerbomb couldn't STAHP BEING SO BEAUTIFUL even if she wanted... there is too much beauty on/in/all over her! ♥
flowerbomb:
@mokinha Ah yes, this is new to me. I didn't know members like yourself were just as curious about this matter as SGs, Hopefuls, photographers, and recruiters. This puts a whole new light on it; a light that shines completely away from monetary motives. (I'm not saying that the only reason why people want to be on the FP is for monetary reasons but that reason is certainly a factor.) You genuinely wish to see certain sets on the FP purely because you believe those individuals deserve to e featured. This is great news. I'm so happy over this. Thank you for telling me what you thought about longtime quality Hopefuls not gracing the FP. :)

@satelina and I are together at last. We are the only SGs in all of Korea... I think we should be the ones to change that ;)

Dear SG Land,
This is a tough question for me because in my twenty-four years of life, I do not feel like I have truly accomplished any one thing completely. What I mean to say is that the things I have done so far feel like steps towards-- maybe even sometimes steps scattered towards, but in the general direction of-- the one thing I do...

Nice! I'm with you on the paper accomplishments. They're nice to have after all the hard work but a piece of paper can't tell me what I can or can't do. People hardly look at them anyway. South Korea definitely an awesome choice = )

I know this will sound trite but life really is about the journey. Everything you do is part of the creative act of living, there may be a destination for you but this can be an illusion. Just living your life according to your values, doing the things that are important to you and that you care about. A life lived according to your own values is a good life.
