Well I may be a couple of days late but it can't hurt for future reference, haha. Lots of water, eggs and burnt toast will kill a hangover. Water keeps you hydrated, protein in the eggs helps your body process it faster and the carbon in the burnt toast soaks up the toxins

With regards to the in-laws, it sounds like you and your husband have already developed a great strategy to not fee their anger. Telling him not to respond, or him telling his mother that he wasn't going to argue was the right thing to do. At this point, I don't know if there's anything you can do to make them happy. You're husband did the right thing as a son and told his mother happy mother's day, and he was judged by the way he did it. I have a feeling if he had called, he would have been yelled at for not doing it in person.
I hope his parents come around soon and mend everything with you and your husband. You and your husband take care now!

thanks for the mothers day and happy study wishes! yes they actually talked since then and she played dumb and asked "why arent you letting us see ava? (my daughter) Whats wrong?" and my husband was like "because of the shit you pulled on easter. and i never said you couldnt see her" they ACT like were ignoring them but they havent spoken to us just the same as we havent spoken to them. ugh its frustrating but my husband is happier and has a better attitude when they DONT speak.
