I really love the idea behind this one. I love her look and I really liked the set up...both her and the setting were soooo appealing to the eyes. And your photography was fab. So In my head I hope this goes up cause it isnt the typical every day set....we see all to often!

I've been wondering what other Catholics think about the church they attend, as all of them are based on the same principles but often quite different. My opinions changes since my first church was a boarding school and the choice was not mine but since moving ot the states and …

The last church we went two was great and very unique. The priest was married, one of a few within the church, he was an episcopalian and converted and was alowed to be a priest. He is a very humble man and had a different perspective on family issues since he has one. It was also cool to see him around town, like the movie theater.

The current priest at the church we attend is unique as well. He is the priest for three of the federal prisons here. I would guess that due to this, he is very humble and also very blunt when needed. For example he has told the congrigation, "don't be a show off, if you do good deeds good. Don't flaunt them it will only take away from your deeds". Its refreshing to see this in a priest. We have seen negative trait in priests before, they are human too.

My parish is good, but we have a new priest. He is pretty young, in his thirties, and the parish was hoping it would boost attendance in the younger set.

But, he is very old school in how he thinks and what he thinks the Church should be like. So the older parishioners are all biggrin and the younger ones are whatever

So
I just got back from a meeting with the Parish council of the place that I live in. I got to talk and answer questions about the homeless and the Big Issue and what can be done for the homeless. I am now buzzing with excitement all because I think I converted about 15 people to the cause of helping people on the streets...

We will all have times in our lives that are a defining moment. A time that everything else is measured against. You will separate you life into before it happened and after. For me that time was ten years ago.

Ten years ago last night I went to bed with a huge storm in the Gulf of Mexico that forecasters predicted would make landfall in...
