It's a fact that Thursday is made up of some of the nicest dudes that walk the earth. Seriously. Few bands are as humble and generous as Geoff and company and anyone that's met or interacted with them will tell you the same thing.
So it comes as no surprise that the band is donating its name to a T-shirt that will completely benefit a little girl with Lukemia. Rather than blather about it, here is what the band has to say:
Hey Friends
A dear friend of Thursday's has a daughter who has been diagnosed with leukemia. Rhiannon Chloe's father, Keith Kiiroja is a long time photographer from Alternative Press. We, along with our good friends at Merchdirect.com have created a shirt from which all proceeds will go to help fund Rhiannon's recovery. In other Thursday news, the band continues to travel with Warped Tour in support of their latest offering, A City By The Light Divided. Overseas fans will have the good fortune of being able to see the band play on the emo/screamo/whatever supertour, Taste of Chaos International. On that trip they are joined by Underoath, Anti-Flag and others. Order that shirt so you have something nice to wear to the festivities.
