No, I'm not kidding. A new musical called Gabba Gabba Hey! will make its London debut on July 31. As a native New Yorker and Queens boy, I'm a little annoyed that a Ramones musical isn't premiering in Forest Hills next to Knish Nosh, but what can you do?

The show features 18 Ramones songs and is said to have an "edge" and "attitude" while being "sweet and lyrical". You cannot pay a PR guy to get a more accurate description of the Ramones themselves. Gotta problem with this? Blame Tommy Ramone; he allowed this to happen.

What's the show about? Yes, that's right. A boy-meets-girl story that takes place in downtown New York. Eh, cool. The show debuted worldwide in Perth, Australia and made its way through Berlin last year. It will stay in London through August 5, so if you're into seeing it there, don't sleep. That's barely one week. No word of a US stage hosting the show, but maybe that's all for the best? Londoners! We are expecting a review.
