Definitely fight it. Document everything that happen in your own words. Take Camera pics of GPS and you in car, Also stage pics of where cell phone was and ipod was when cop approached you. Advise judge this is for visual reference only and not taken at time of ticket. Usually judge will give you points for 1. Taking trouble to fight tkt in first place
2. Having all the visual back up to your story.

Also, they might make the cop take time out from his day to appear in court.This usually is a big inconvenience to the cop and will be a big dark cloud in his day. If you win, can you imagine how pissed he will be?

I'm sure there is a time limit for appeals but if you can, fight this guy, win or lose you will upset his day no end.
