As much as I bitch about being here, this city is astounding when the sun comes out; I hardly recognize it.

Match Point is showing at Pacific Place and I wanna see it! Who wants to take me on a date? love

Hottie? You made my day...thank ya!

Yeah, the thing about being sensitive to the energy of others is remembering that it isn't your energy; to be sensitive and sympathetic without absorbing it. It's easy to just let it flow away when it happens, and if you're called to do something to help, then you do to the best of your ability. If you ever find yourself not able to release what you feel, I can give you some transmutation exercises to get rid of it.

Hope your dinner goes well!

A few days ago I learned that there is one person who understands how desperately I want to move back to California. His name is Rob and I work with him. As it happened, he was leaning over the desk doing paperwork when out of nowhere and without looking up, he said, "I really miss California." I looked at him, stunned. "You do?!?! Why? Tell...

That's it, I'm leaving for Cali tomorrow. I can't stand the thought of a contest I didn't win.

I miss talking to you, missy. Let's have lunch or something soon, OK?

God sent Elchanan to me some five or six years ago. This Orthodox Jewish boy from Santa Monica has been more to me than most, nudging me, always, toward truth and clarity; enriching my life in more ways than I can tell. I am better for knowing him. We'd not communicated for many months, but he was online tonight and he asked, as he always...

Things that I like about Seattle:

My neighbor, Sakinah, is so super cool. I couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. I think that we'll be good friends for a long time. Her apartment is haunted, but mine is not. I have a nice view of St. James Cathedral. It lights up at night, pretty against the blackness of the sky. I love Caffe Ladro,...

Something wonderful happened today. I was wandering around town, sort of killing time, having done this and that, but nothing much to speak of (except that I saw a woman on stilts with a sign on her back that read, "Everything is under control."). I happened to pass Tulio (the restaurant of my hotel) on my way home, and as I did, the bartender looked...

I read it, some years ago. Maybe in college? I remember it as ... pretentious but interesting, like "Love In the Time of Cholera" kind of.

Hm. "Psychic attachment" doesn't ring a bell.

How do you mean? Without meaning to pry, what's happening...what's the feeling.

Not neccesarily asking for details, but what's the framework of the condition...

Evidently, "to crack a fat" is Australian slang for "to have an erection"! [Update] So retarded is my sense of humor, I may never recover from the hilarity of this.

Man, that Britney is one lucky girl. It's so hard to find a classy, well-spoken gentleman like her Kevin puke

Now, you'll all have to pardon me while I go bust some phat rhymes about stuff that's gross. Look out K-Fed, competition on the way :p

There's something about Chris O'Donnell that's so boy-next-door-ish and uninteresting, or so I'd always thought until last night when I watched a film called 29 Palms. I went to Hollywood Video with the intention of renting Birthday Girl - no work of cinematic ingenuity, but Nicole Kidman is fascinating. I couldn't find it, but didn't care enough to ask where it might be located....

Well done to you too! For whatever you wish.

I haven't seen yon Chris O' Donnell film (or the Kidman one), so I can't comment.
