So...there I am lying in bed and the doorbell rings...

I jump out of bed as I'm expecting some CDs and an LP from Amazon and there's no way the postman is getting away yet again...

Down I go in my 'night attire', answer the door and it's 2 guys wanting to convert me!!

They got as far as 'Good morning sir...' before I noticed...

Eye fucking HATE christian zealots!

imagine if thelemites knocked on doors trying to push the teachings ov Crowley onto troglodytes! it just wouldn't work... same thing goes for christianity.. these people don't even really know the true history ov their own fucking religion!! it's sad to realise that satanists usually know moe about real christianity than the damn christians themselves!!!

I think with these three choices, the first two allow me to be in or near a major city centre while avoiding London living costs. The third would forgo any easy access to a city. Huddersfield lies zigactly between Manchester and Leeds. I have no idea what those cities are like except that Manchester probably has a thriving rock music scene because of it's recent history. Leeds has a football club...that's all I know. But Huddersfield is green...which is cool. Edinburgh has masses of history.

I'm not a pub person at all actually. Alcohol's not my thing. Herbal and natural highs are my thing, but in moderation and certainly not in Sweden.

What are the girls like?

Wow!
"I met a real SG....I met a real SG....I met a real SG...."
*dance with me folks*! biggrin

For all of you people that just objectify these girls, here's a wake up call.
They're all real and some of them have actual bands! Imagine that!! smile

Cherry, this site doesn't do you justice in the slightest.
Intelligent foxy bass players are very hard to find these...

Wasn't a fan of Tas. Made me want to hit him most of the time. Then when his best friend the dwarf died, and he became the first kender to know what melancholy was, then I felt sorry for him.

In the related world of Faerun, out of boredom read 'The Silent Blade' by R.A. Salvatore, which is like book 6 or something in the Dark Elf series following Drizzt Do'Urden(sp?). Feel like I should go back to the beginning and read it through properly....it wasn't bad. My favorite characters in the book was 3 male drow who were leaders of a breakaway anti-Lolth (i.e. anti-male oppression by evil spider-bitch matriarchy) group that - for me anyway - were the first characters I'd seen in a D&D universe who were Psionics. They were awesome....sort of like Mafia Ninjas. And you could never tell just who's side they were on.

btw, happy to see you had fun.

I was suprised but kind of pleased at the same time. If I'm 27 and get ID for less than 18 it means I can still go after sixth formers.... No! Not sixth formers. I meant be youthfull and pay less on the bus, nothing about chasing 17 years olds at all. Forget I ever mentioned it whatever Lie mode cancelled, phew, got away with that one!
Hmmmm, the shutterbug bits new isnt it? biggrin I'll have to remember some more Yorkshire slang and terms, or some of the Scottish ones from me old mans side of the family.
I have seen Shogun Assassin which was a mix I think of the Lone Wolf films, or heavily edited anyway. I have been meaning to get around to them. Unfortunately I love zombie films and buy even the shit ones.
I've often been asked to provide translations from my journal for various words and termage. Not so much now though, I think people are getting used to it smile I did get one of my american mates talking like me, he must of got some odd looks when he got back to Texas though.

hey WaTed yeah sorry about no description. they are fragments from space shuttle columbia. it basically blew apart about 100 kilometers west of where i live so we are still finding pieces daily. i do not want to desensitize the whole thing, but the morning it happened i was outside my house and basically heard and saw the whole thing happen. a few minutes later 4 pieces fell in my front yard.

By moonlight we ride
Ten thousands side by side
With swords drawn held high
Our whips and armours shine
Hail to thee our infantry
Still brave beyond the grave
All sworn the eternal vow
The time to strike is now

Kill, kill, Oh !
Kill, kill, Oh !
Kill, kill, Oh !
Kill, kill, Oh !
Gone are the days when freedom shone
Now blood...

A quote from the Bottom episode 'Break'. I figured it would make a change from my usual wednesday entry of 'I'm going to the pub tonight for my mid week piss up'

Yep, that was indeed what I was asking. Shutterbug is a bit of an obscure term, I picked up from my Grandad who's from Yorkshire, might be just used around there though.

I wish my digital camera was like that. Sounds bloody good. Mines a cheapo 60 quid jobbie from Argos. I have to threaten it to get the sodding thing working!

Sounds interesting, there's a fair few legends, inscriptions and texts relating to all that area. I really must get back onto that era again, I've been on the Eastern Roman Empire and the Crusades for the last year or so.
