Sooooo. I'm a terrible procrastinator.
Here I am with an entire week to work on my thesis, and yet it is Thursday and I have pretty much only stared at it with puppy dog eyes. I guess my plan into guilt tripping it into writing itself wasn't effective.
What I haven't been procrastinating on is exercise. I am pretty darned excited that I'm feeling this motivated to run and lift. I'm feeling the results already. When I exercise I feel so much more confident in myself. I have a pretty positive correlation between body image and confidence, so I suppose that explains it.
I'm training for my 2nd half marathon in May, which has been a pretty big motivator for my running. I want to break an 1 hour and 26 minutes, so I really need to work hard to get there. Wish me luck you cool cats!
I've decided to keep my current running shoes. I was pretty apprehensive at first, but I feel like they are treating me much better than originally anticipated.
Plus, look how PRETTY THEY AREEEE!!
Oh, if anyone is interested in adding me on the Nike+ running site, my username is the same as my SG label.
In other news, I will be booking my ticket to Australia on Monday. I'm pretty excited. It should be a wild chapter in my life. There are some amazing people down under on SG who have already chatted with me and made me feel much more confident in my decision
In summary:
-Life is good
-I need to stop slacking off of work
-I'm looking forward to Australia in every way except for the Vegemite.
-You people are amazing!
Wishing you all the best,
WtW
