At twelve midnight, I realized what was bothering me. There were lots of things.. too many to list here.. and they've been gnawing away at me, slowly putting enough holes in my life that I was starting to sink. It's a simple realization:

Well, after my NYE plans fell apart and I wound up staying home and talking to drunk people on the internet at midnight, I really had to do a lot of re-examining. What I've found is:

Wish I knew what was going on New Years Eve - if anybody knows any good parties or something, let me know, 'cause I do NOT want to sit here staring at a wall. (That is, parties realitively close to LA!)

As I write this, I'm like.. kicking myself. Badly. I had plans, I thought.. then they all fell through when nobody I was talking to was actually going to go for various reasons - THEN I didn't even get the address and had no way of getting back to them to find it!
Bah. So I'm spending my New Years on the internet, downloading a new game, and generally beating myself up. I've been here four damn months and I don't know ONE person to hang with or ONE good place to go to a party and life just sucks.
I am *SO* kicking myself for not hacking backup plans!!
