You know what I like to see tattoos of on strippers?

Jesus.

That's right, Jesus. Complete with the crown of thorns and beatific smile. Here's my bloody Jesus back piece, here's my cooter, enjoy your steak.

It's been a strange day all around.

Your dinner sounds so much classier than mine.

I'll be eating some version of Chinese food for Xmas dinner. Oh well. Maybe beggar's chicken.
baudot:
Aye. Life is long and strange. There should be other chances. Still, spending time with the awesome people sooner rather than later is always good.

I still love the Flash one. I think I said that last time you put up a picture of them.
baudot:
Yikes. Now regretting I didn't put the word out better where we were headed so that we could have met up.

I'm feeling very Dimmer these days. Some of my favorites:

And not Dimmer, but still Shayne Carter (oh, how young and terrible they look, but I love the song):

Spore?

I accidentally bought the PC copy instead of the Mac just now, so they just refunded me.. guess that means I have a second chance.

I downloaded this free game from online that looks cool, but I'd have to play it on Pygmy's computer. It's not Mac compatible.

You Mac or PC? If you're on PC a friend of mine made a prizewinning game that I could recommend.
lemonkid:
Yeah I could buy one on Taobao (the Chinese Amazon.com) , but I'm leery of anything that'll give me more permanent baggage.

I've only played the first one, but it's nice to not be able to really slice yourself open while cooking.
lemonkid:
What was that game you were talking about recently where you can make all kinds of things? Like for Nintendo or something?

That's quite a few. I already feel as if my attention is, to borrow a few good words, like butter spread over too much toast.

Also, this thread is lonely and wants for your attention.

We had a kid at the school where I taught that we referred to as Two-Step. Nice kid, decent attendance, got about a C for effort, but that was more than most kids got. We never called him Two-Step to his face, his name was actually Demontrae, but it was common in the staff lounge to refer to him as such. We called him this,...

Well as long as you can remove the leaves so it doesn't over-steep, that's the key.

You know, I've always been a bit blind to the difference. When last I was here, in '99, the East just seemed a bit poorer, a bit drabber, not much else. Now it's gentrifying. Kreuzberg, the poor enclave of the West, is almost entirely gentrified, and that wave is pushing into its eastern neighbors.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot

For some reason, my husband and I got it in our fool heads to celebrate Guy Fawkes day. Possibly because we'll take any excuse for a celebration. We couldn't think of a meal that had a really appropriate 'blowing-up-Parliament' kind of feel, so we're having celebratory commemorative Guy Fawkes tacos and watching V for...

I'm all for eating tacos at the Revolucione!

I love that flowchart too.

Today is the anniversary of my death, fourteen years ago. It's also the anniversary of the day I realized that my mother really should have told me that, because she's deathly allergic to morphine, there's a good chance I would be too.

I try not to be too maudlin about it, though. Even though I was technically dead, it clearly didn't stick. I think I'll...

I'm sure you could find an oversized poster of it online.

No I agree, I think it adds to that haughty look of hers.
