And on that note, I think the amount that we rely on digital communication for our relationships encourages people to just cut others out entirely. It's so easy to block people, ignore their texts, etc. Technology definitely enables this kind of stuff.

@hex I don't see why. It's so crappy. I thought it was one of those people. @bandit I don't get it, because I noticed we were a little distant a couple weeks ago so I brought it up and she just said she was really busy with work and stuff. @lewolf I certainly strive to be. Too many people are rude and shitty to practically strangers, for no reason at all. I honestly don't think I'm all that nice or good of a guy, but I don't find it challenging to be polite to people. The only thing I can think of is that her boyfriend of three years is the jealous and controlling type and they'd been having a rough patch. Maybe that had something to do with it.
Can someone please explain to me how @rebyt isn't Pink? All three of her sets have well over 3000 hearts and two of them are nearly 4000. She's an utter beauty!

I so agree with your statement... especially seeing the upper echelon of SG involved, expressing their views and being very, let's just say, "passionate" about their candidate and political stances... I feel chilled in a way because of it...

@timjimmy exactly! even if you had four sets bought in a year, which is highly unlikely, you still aren't making a substantial amount. I'm not complaining about the amount, it's just ridiculous that girls think being an SG is a career. Although it's a great place to find your niche market and sell prints, start camming, and build a fan base. Women are just so used to stepping over one another to get to the top, some of the girls here don't realize this isn't the place for that kind of alpha female bullshit.

One of the things that bothers me the most about this site is that it was started as a feminist project (I have very mixed feelings about the feminism of today) but has changed into the compete opposite. There's no empowerment or being nonconforming here anymore. SG used to be raw, cagey and provocative, but anymore it seems like the only SG is interested in is classic Playboy models who happen to have a couple tattoos, piercings and maybe some colored hair. If you don't conform to those standards, your sets won't be purchased.
