i love my life today. my house is hot. i want to sleep in the yard.....

so here is my story.

there is a man that i have had a crush on since grade 11. at that time a big part of the attraction was his '69 chevelle. but i really like him in some ways. i admit the thought of fulfilling my teenage lust is appealing.

i have been in touch with him on and off for the past year. we sat in the sunshine and talked for about 3 hours this spring. he recently agreed to help me move furniture from another city. okay, it is a great deal but a couch is a couch and a big part of the caper is having him help me with the furniture. i admit it i am playing the "damsel in distress" card.

today he told me it was not a problem, he would move two couches for me and if i "can't be at home at the time of delivery just leave a key out" and he will move them into my house.

now i don't know if a) he is clueless and has not received any of the "i am interested in you" messages i have sent, b) he's just not that into me or c) some other unintelligible situation i have no comprehension of.

i am rather oddly naive in regard to some things and any input on this situation is welcome.

No guy is going to go through all of this for a girl he doesn't like. Maybe he just doesn't move as fast as he did in high school. The older I get the more I find that men like women to be the aggressors, but there is still that stigma, so you almost have to wave a sign in front of them like a red flag to a bull. There still has to be the song and dance to a degree. So you might as well have fun and enjoy the build-up!

Besides, I met you once, for less than two hours, and I want you...This guy is probably head over heels by now. smile
